2. What are cookies?

4. Categories of cookies we use

The Site is built and hosted on the Framer platform. Tags and scripts on the Site are managed through Google Tag Manager, which allows us to control which third-party services load and when. Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies. The categories of cookies used are set out below.

4.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the Site to operate. They enable core functionality such as page navigation, load balancing, security, and remembering your cookie consent choices. Without these cookies the Site cannot function properly. These cookies do not require your consent and cannot be disabled through our cookie banner, although you can block them through your browser settings. Doing so may cause parts of the Site to stop working.

Our consent preference record is stored by 2403 Group as a first-party cookie or browser local storage entry. It stores the cookie choices you made in our banner so that you are not asked again on every visit, and typically persists for up to 12 months or until you clear your browser storage.

Platform and delivery cookies are set by Framer, our website host, and support site hosting, page delivery, load balancing and security. These are a mixture of session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, and persistent cookies which typically last for up to 12 months.

4.2 Analytics and performance cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Site by collecting and reporting information on an aggregated basis, for example which pages are visited most often, how long visitors stay, which sources refer visitors to us, and whether they encounter errors. This helps us improve how the Site performs. We only set these cookies where you have accepted them via our cookie banner.

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to measure and report on use of the Site. Google Analytics sets cookies which distinguish individual users and sessions in order to compile usage reports. The primary cookies are named _ga and _ga_4092QGZ0P0, and each typically persists for up to 24 months. Short-lived Google Analytics cookies used to distinguish individual sessions typically expire within 24 hours.

Google Analytics on the Site is configured to operate with Google Consent Mode. Where you have not accepted analytics cookies, or where you have declined them, Google Analytics operates without setting cookies on your device and transmits only limited, aggregated measurement signals that do not identify you or track you across visits. Cookies are set only after you have given your consent.

We also use the analytics functionality built into the Framer platform, which reports aggregated visitor numbers, page views and referring sources. This functionality does not set cookies and does not store your IP address. It works by combining your IP address and browser user agent with a secret value that is regenerated and destroyed every day, which means the resulting record cannot be linked to you or to your activity on other days. Because no cookies are set and no identifying data is retained, this functionality operates without requiring your consent.

4.3 Functionality cookies

These cookies allow the Site to provide enhanced features and embedded services from third parties. If you do not allow these cookies, the relevant features will not be available, although the rest of the Site will continue to work normally.

We use Calendly, an appointment scheduling service, to allow you to view our availability and book meetings with us without leaving the Site. The Calendly booking widget is embedded within our pages and is loaded from Calendly’s own servers. When the widget loads, Calendly may set its own cookies and similar storage on your device in order to operate the scheduling interface, remember your progress through the booking process, maintain security, and prevent abuse. These are typically a mixture of session cookies and persistent cookies lasting up to 12 months.

Because Calendly is a third-party service that sets non-essential cookies, the booking widget is loaded only after you have given your consent through our cookie banner. If you decline, the widget will not load, and you can instead contact us by email or telephone using the details at the end of this policy in order to arrange a meeting.

Where you complete a booking, the information you enter into the Calendly widget, such as your name, email address and any details you provide about the meeting, is collected by Calendly and shared with us so that we can arrange and attend the meeting. Our use of that information is described in our Privacy Policy. Calendly’s own handling of it is governed by its privacy policy, which is available at https://calendly.com/legal/privacy-notice.

We also measure interactions with the booking widget, such as whether a visitor viewed our availability, selected a time, or completed a booking. This measurement is carried out through Google Analytics and is subject to the same consent choices and the same Consent Mode behaviour described in the analytics section above. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

4.4 Marketing and targeting cookies

These cookies may be set through our Site by advertising and social media partners. They may be used to build a profile of your interests and to show you relevant content on other sites. They do not directly store personal information, but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and device. We only set these cookies where you have accepted them via our cookie banner.

Our Site also contains links to external services, including email, telephone and WhatsApp contact links. Clicking these will take you to a third-party platform which operates under its own privacy and cookie policies.

6. Your choices and how to manage cookies

6.1 Our cookie banner

When you first visit the Site, you are shown a cookie banner allowing you to accept all cookies or to decline non-essential cookies. Non-essential cookies will not be set, and third-party services that rely on them will not be loaded, unless and until you accept them.

7.1 United Arab Emirates

Where we collect personal data through non-essential cookies, we rely on your consent. Where cookies are strictly necessary to deliver the Site you have requested, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site.

7.2 Visitors in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK GDPR, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations or the EU ePrivacy Directive apply to your visit, we rely on your consent for analytics, functionality and marketing cookies, including the loading of the Calendly booking widget, and on our legitimate interests for strictly necessary cookies required to operate and secure the Site.

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. 7.3 International transfers

Some of our service providers, including Google and Calendly, are located outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data collected through cookies is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection, including through contractual safeguards with the relevant provider, as required by the PDPL and, where applicable, the GDPR and UK GDPR.

8. Data retention

Cookies remain on your device for the periods set out in this policy, unless you delete them earlier. Aggregated analytics data derived from cookies is retained by Google Analytics for a period of 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. Information you submit when booking a meeting is retained in line with the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.

The Site is directed at businesses and professional audiences and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through cookies or otherwise.
